The Sea is full of stars is an ongoing series of work about the magic of life in the ocean. There are hundreds of star-shaped life forms in salt water. The fist set of watercolours are paintings of the barnacles on the backs of whales. Different whale species have different species of barnacles unique to them. I am fascinated buy how these small sedentary star-shaped creatures that form constellations, travel the oceans on the backs of whales.
